Like many other tester stories, this one starts with a Google search. After entering the term “software testing”, Supraja AddalaPrasad came across uTest - saw the need for experienced QA professionals - and immediately wanted to learn more.
“I was especially interested in the pay-per-bug model,” she said. “Of course, being able to select projects based on my own preference was also quite appealing. But the best thing about uTest, by far, was the chance to compete in the Bug Battle.”
And that quote was taken before she was named Top US Tester in the Q1 Bug Battle of 2009. A former technical writer, Supraja began her career drafting help files for various web applications – experience that has enabled her to easily test the functionality of similar apps on the uTest platform.
Working primarily with web-based applications, Supraja is looking forward to testing the latest apps from today’s most innovative software companies. And maybe winning another Bug Battle (or two).
