Bernard Shai Lelchuk

A software testing expert in the true sense of the term, Bernard Shai Lelchuk began his QA career, oddly enough, as a musician and audio engineer, where he participated in beta testing various music production applications.

After later becoming a system administrator, Bernard searched for a slightly different career path – and landed in software QA. Working for a young start-up, he would eventually become a senior QA engineer, obtaining a wealth of knowledge in testing tools, techniques and methodologies – skills that would translate well into the uTest platform.

As he searched for beta testing opportunities online, he stumbled across an article on uTest, and decided to see what this software testing community as all about. Not long after joining, Bernard was soon testing a variety of web, desktop and mobile applications – not to mention winning top honors in uTest’s inaugural Bug Battle.

While he tests all types of applications through the uTest platform, Bernard is excited to see more mobile companies sign up to their apps tested by the global community. “I believe that the uTest community can be a great place for such applications,” said Bernard. “Especially in regards to mobile platforms, localizations, vendors, ISP's and data types.”
