uTest at Venture Summit East 2009
CEO and Co-Founder Doron Reuveni to Present at Leading East Coast Event for Global Growth Investors
Boston, MA
May 20 2009
uTest, the leading software testing marketplace, today announced that CEO Doron Reuveni will present at Venture Summit East in Boston, MA on May 21st at 2:15pm (Salon II).
The goal of Venture Summit East is to identify the most promising innovation-driven, growth investment opportunities. uTest is part of a select group of six CEOs showcasing their technologies in the “SaaS, Enterprise, Cloud and Infrastructure” track. Other panelists include News Patterns, HubSpot, Endeca, Invention Machine and Venuegen. Five hundred investors, VCs, research analysts and corporate buyers attend to stay current on economic and technology trends impacting the global growth investor.
“Many companies are turning to crowdsourced testing as a way to do more with less, and to avoid compromising the quality of their apps,” said Doron Reuveni, CEO of uTest. “Utilizing an online community promotes competition, making it more accountable, responsive and cost-effective than traditional outsourcing. uTest enables our customers to meet their web and mobile application testing needs, and to do it at a fraction of the cost of the alternatives.”
Since its launch in August 2008, uTest has built a global community of 16,000 professional testers, signed more than 100 new customers, expanded into mobile and gaming app verticals, added to its executive team and raised $5.2 million in a B round of funding.
