Partner at Egan-Managed Capital Brings Wealth of Experience with High-Growth Web Ventures

uTest, the world's largest marketplace for software testing, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Travis Connors to its board of directors. Connors is a Partner at the Boston-based venture capital firm Egan-Managed Capital, which was a lead investor in uTest's recent $5 million round of funding.

"Travis has an outstanding track record for helping to guide some of the most successful web start-ups in our industry," said Doron Reuveni, CEO and co-founder of uTest. "It's another affirmation of the uTest model to have someone with Travis' vision and expertise on our side. uTest is looking forward to expanding our rapid growth in the software testing industry, and Travis will play a major role in that."

Connors, who joined Egan-Managed Capital in 2000, has more than 12 years of investing and financing experience with technology companies at various stages of growth.

"I was drawn to the concept of crowdsourced software testing from the moment I heard the idea," said Connors. "And the better I understood uTest's vision, the more I realized how well-positioned they are for success. When you consider the size of the software testing market, as well as the number of customers uTest has already acquired since their recent launch, it’s clear that they’re on the right path."

As a partner at Egan-Managed Capital, Travis serves on the Board of Directors of companies such as Envista Software, Owner IQ and Pyxis Mobile.
