uTest Community Tops 20,000 Testers
Crowdsourcing QA Leader Reaches Major Community Milestone Just After First Anniversary
Boston, MA
Oct 7 2009
uTest, the world’s largest software testing marketplace, today announced that its community grew to include more than 20,000 testers from 157 countries worldwide. uTest enables companies to build an on-demand testing team based on location, languages, hardware, software and each tester’s past performance. Companies of all sizes leverage this community to help test their web, desktop and mobile applications.
The uTest community continues to expand – not only in sheer size, diversity and testing coverage – but also in the level of testing skill, community engagement and tester collaboration. Approximately 700 testers join uTest each month, and more than 1,200 testers now participate in the company’s recently launched tester forums.
By compiling detailed tester profiles and past performance ratings, uTest precisely matches its customers’ testing needs with the right members of its global community. uTest customers – from small startups to publicly-traded software enterprises – report increased testing coverage and application quality, as well as faster time-to-market and significantly reduced testing costs.
“uTest’s ubiquitous testing coverage enables us to quickly build on-demand testing teams by location, OS, browser, handset, carrier and industry expertise,” said Doron Reuveni, uTest CEO. “Reaching the 20,000 testers milestone further demonstrates uTest’s ability to meet our customers’ unique testing needs, enabling us to extend our leadership position in crowdsourced software testing.”
