Technical Project Manager, Boston Area
Job Description: Do you have a zest for working with cutting edge products and helping customers succeed? Ready to be part of game-changing start-up? Do you have 4 to 8 years of technical experience and a passion for working directly with customers? We are searching for a talented Project Manager/Support Engineer who will enjoy working hands-on in a fast-paced, start-up environment. Join uTest and have the room to apply your expertise to solve technical challenges and to grow professionally. This position is ideally suited for someone with software technical support/QA/Development experience and has the ability to manage client expectations while juggling parallel projects. As the single point of contact - and key stakeholder during the delivery period - the Project Manager will be responsible for learning new products, developing/managing test plans, managing project budgets, triaging bugs, and quickly resolving issues.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 4-8 years experience with Software Development as a Developer, QA, Consultant, or Technical Support engineer

Job Description:
uTest is looking for a senior software engineer with a strong background in designing and developing Software-as-a-Service platforms using Service-Oriented Architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design and build new customer-facing functionality for our Saas platform
- Work with SysOps/DevOps to grow our platform and infrastructure to meet the expanding requirements of our growing business
Qualifications
- Experience building large scale web applications using J2EE technologies (Spring, Hibernate, MySQL)
- Deep understanding of operational requirements for SaaS platform

PR Manager, Boston Area

uTest has massive ambitions for the business and the brand, and want extend our thought leadership in the crowdsourcing and apps universe. We need a PR Manager to take awareness of our “in-the-wild testing” story to the next level-- an “A” player that can open doors and drive results.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the PR Director to articulate strategy for growing brand awareness
- Track deadlines, and write winning awards submissions and speaker abstracts
- Write original content while maintaining a consistent voice across touch points (eg: blog, PR, bylined articles, etc) with minimal oversight or editing.
- Craft compelling and concise press releases and pitches, with the ability to convert them into successfully placed news and feature stories
- Research and identify appropriate award, speaking and editorial opportunities
- Assist in developing corporate presentations for our Speaker Bureau
- Grow uTest’s presence (according to both qualitative and quantitative KPIs) across all social media channels including Twitter, LinkedIn and G+.
- Develop reports (ad hoc and monthly) that outline, measure and evaluate our Awareness team’s efforts.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of forward-thinking PR and communications experience.
- Tech PR experience absolutely required; some B2B preferred.
- Communicate seamlessly with the PR Director located in uTest’s San Mateo, CA office.
- Proficient communicator across social media channels (incl. Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, G+, YouTube, Flickr).
- Existing relationships with journalists and bloggers in the tech space and local Boston business scene is a major plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to collaborate with peers in marketing, sales and product to solve real business problems.
- Manage multiple complex projects with meticulous detail in a fast-paced environment
