uTest was named Winner in the “Best New Company of the Year” category in The 2009 American Business Awards. More than 2,600 entries from companies of all sizes, both public and private, and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories.
After a half million votes for more than 80,000 different sites and blogs, uTest's software testing blog was named one of the five finalists for the Best Corporate Blog. "uTest's blog is a deserving finalist in the Open Web Awards 2009. After being nominated by thousands of web users, the blog went on to be one of the top 5 Best Corporate Blogs by the public vote," said Pete Cashmore.
The Boston Business Journal on Friday announced the 60 companies to be honored during its Best Places to Work program in June. This year’s 2010 Best Places to Work will be held during a June 11 breakfast event at the Seaport Hotel & World Trade Center. Honorees are ranked within three categories — small company (in which uTest made the cut!), midsized company and large company.
uTest was named a finalist today in three leading categories in the 2010 American Business Awards:
1. Most Innovative Company of the Year
2. Best Blog in the Computer Services Category (Software Testing Blog) and
3. B2B Communications Campaign of the Year (Bug Battle).
uTest was selected - out of hundreds of companies - as one of 2010's Red Herring 100 North America Winners. The list honors the year’s most promising private tech ventures from North America. The companies were selected based on their technological innovation, management strength, market size, investor record, customer acquisition and financial health.
uTest was named to InformationWeek’s Startup 50, a list of the top 50 business technology start-ups. The winners selected by IW readers based on Innovation, Value, and Enterprise-readiness.
uTest has been included in Gartner’s list of "Cool Vendors" in Application Development for 2009 report. Gartner highlights that "cool vendors and their products represent key trends, directions and emerging practices in application development." uTest’s inclusion in the Cool Vendor report by Gartner is further validation of our crowdsourced software testing model.
Award Recognizes Cutting Edge Private Companies Driving the Future of Innovation. uTest is a winner of the annual New England Venture Summit Top Innovator award by youngStartup Ventures.
uTest's Software Testing Blog won the Hive Award for Best Blog in 2010 in the Business Software category. The first annual Hive Awards for the unsung heroes of the Internet took place at SXSW Interactive this year. uTest’s blog has become an active and agnostic source that delves into topics including crowdsourcing, startup life, & developing/testing web, desktop & mobile apps.
Inclusion in the list signifies leadership amongst peers & innovative technologies disrupting existing markets and entrenched players. The AO Global 250 represents the best of emerging innovators and disrupters from all the technology sectors, and therefore is AO's most distinguished annual competition. The companies on the 2009 AO 250 represent the next wave of creation and economic progress. uTest made the SaaS and Enterprise list, and then received Category Winner!
uTest was one of five companies chosen by Dealmaker Media to participate in the Graduate Circle, a select group named “sector leaders” that have graduated from a prior Under the Radar event and are gaining major momentum. Doron was chosen to present as a “sector leader” at this premier mobile tech event.
Now in its 13th year, the WebAwards is the premier annual website award competition that names the best Web sites in 96 industries while setting the standard of excellence for all website development. uTest's revamped website, launched in May 2009, was named a winner this year!
The ‘AlwaysOn East Top 100’ list is comprised of leading East Coast companies pioneering in cloud computing and SaaS, digital media, and green tech. These companies were selected based on their track-record of creating new business opportunities in high-growth markets, establishing significant market traction, and demonstrating leadership amongst its peers. “After examining the AO East 100 list, it's obvious that innovation is not only alive and well on the East Coast, it's accelerating in economic power and scope,” said Tony Perkins, founder of AlwaysOn.
uTest was named a finalist to the Massachusetts Innovation and Technology Exchange (MITX). The MITX Tech Awards recognize emergent and innovative technologies developed in New England.
The SNCR holds this event to recognize companies that are exploring new and innovative avenues of communications and marketing. Honored for building and engaging community.
The Mass Technology Leadership Council, Inc. announced the finalists for the Council’s annual Technology Leadership Awards. The Awards recognize outstanding achievement in technology.
Of the hundreds of companies that applied, uTest was part of a select group of 24 companies invited to present at Under the Radar, Silicon Valley’s most established startup debut platform. uTest won the Judges' Choice Award in the Application Track. Past participants include Flickr, LinkedIn and Pandora.
The Silicon Valley Association of Startup Entrepreneurs (SVASE) chose uTest for the "Most Promising New Company" Award in the Computing Track at "Launch: Silicon Valley 2008."
uTest has been selected for the Best of Business Award in the Software Testing Services category by the Small Business Commerce Association (SBCA). The SBCA Award Program recognizes the top 5% of small businesses throughout the country.
